In May, we will be completing our Transdisciplinary Theme of How the World Works. Students have been investigating the science of rocks and minerals, and how natural (volcanoes, landslides, glaciers, earthquakes) and unnatural (mining, oil drilling) geologic processes affect the surface of the Earth. 
 
May 28th we have a virtual tour planned of the California Historic Gold Fields.
May 31st we will be visiting the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad.
June 5th we will be celebrating with an end-of-year party. Stay tuned for details!
