During the Spring of 2021, Hanover Research conducted virtual Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) stakeholder groups with staff and parents, including administrator groups, the SMUSD Parent Advisory Council, and District English Learner Advisory Council (DELAC). Additionally, an LCAP input survey was also sent out to all stakeholders in the district. A summary of this input was reviewed during public LCAP meetings, as well as included within the 2021-2022 LCAP draft document.
The LCAP draft review process, which began in April of 2021, was also inclusive of Stakeholder Feedback. After all LCAP stakeholder meetings, led by our Assistant Superintendents, comments were reviewed and responded to in writing within 48 hours (with responses posted on the district website).
Please see below for the dates and times for the LCAP Stakeholder Meetings. Please note that all Spanish-speaking stakeholders had the option to attend the May DELAC meeting, where the draft was presented in Spanish, and subsequent discussions were in Spanish.
