KOC Camps
KOC Camps
KOC offers full-day
Camp care
during school breaks, including Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Break. Camp enrollment is on a weekly basis, so families can select the weeks they need during the registration period for each Camp. Camp enrollment tends to be very popular and spaces fill up quickly.
Any SMUSD student may use KOC Camp, even if they do not attend KOC during the school year.
Camps are announced in
the
News and Announcements
section of our website about 4-6 weeks before the start date for each Camp.
TKs are admitted to school year Camps (Thanksgiving, Winter & Spring), but not for Summer Camp, since they have not attended SMUSD schools before.
KOC Summer Camp is open to SMUSD students in Kindergarten through 5th grade for the coming school year. Students in these grades may also attend all other Camps during the school year
(Thanksgiving, Winter & Spring).
The sites where we hold KOC
Camps
vary, depending on large-scale projects by the SMUSD Maintenance & Operations and Facilities departments. The school breaks are the only opportunity for those departments to complete projects without staff or students present. We would not hold Camp at a site if there were a project that makes it unsafe or unfeasible for us to be there. Locations for each Camp are announced when all Camp details are announced, about 4-6 weeks before the start of each Camp.
For general KOC Camp info, check out our most recent
Camp FAQ
, which we update for each upcoming Camp.
Summer Camp 2025:
We don't have our 2025-26 calendar ready yet, but we anticipate our
Summer
Camp
2025 will start on 6/16/25. Here is our current
2024-25 school year calendar
to give you an idea (yellow days reflect when
Camp
is offered).
We anticipate closures on 6/19 and 6/20 (for Juneteenth and the Friday afterwards) and 7/4 for the 4th of July.
Our 2025-26 calendar will be posted as soon as it is ready. However, we expect Summer Camp 2025 to run through 8/13/25 (KOC staff prep for the new school year on 8/14, 8/15 and 8/19, so we will be closed to families on those days).
We anticipate holding KOC Summer Camp enrollment in mid May, after School Year 2025-26 enrollment.
Please check the
News and Announcements
section of our website about 4-6 weeks before our
Camps
for full details.
