Shade Shelter Re-Use Project

Shade Shelter - Discovery

Project Overview: Shade Shelter Re-use Project

The Shade Structure Re-Use project developed around the re-use of existing shade shelters that were temporarily installed at the interim San Marcos High School campus. There are ever-increasing needs for shade at existing school campuses for the safety of the students at lunch and with the physical education programs. The following campuses have currently been selected for installation of these shade shelters: Mission Hills High School, San Elijo Middle School, Discovery Elementary School, and San Marcos Elementary School. In conjunction with the Shade Shelter project, the field and site facilities upgrades at San Elijo Middle School developed in response to the higher attendance demands and curriculum requirements on the physical education program.
