The San Marcos Promise would like to invite you to our next Connect to Careers event, highlighting jobs and careers within the Healthcare industry.
Join us on March 15th, from 9am-12:30pm at SETS Kitchen & Bar for a unique networking experience & opportunity to connect with professionals who work in the Healthcare industry.
After breakfast, we're hosting a Speed Networking event. During each round, you will meet with a professional and hear about their career and the journey they've taken to get there.
The rounds will go as follows: 3:1(student: professional) ratio; 10 minutes each; 10 rounds total. We believe this format will give each student an opportunity to learn about the wide variety of careers available in Healthcare in a comfortable environment where questions and conversations are encouraged. This is a great way to network and make connections that could potentially lead to future opportunities!
Space is limited to 30 students total (12 MHHS, 12 SMHS & 6 TOHS/FHS). Participation is FREE.
Professionals:
- Nurse Practitioner/Cardiology/Heart Transplant
- Public Relations
- Occupational Therapist
- Air Ambulance Pilot
- Scientist

Breakfast and transportation* will be provided.
*Busses will depart from each school around 8:30am and return by 1pm.
Students must upload a signed permission slip during the registration process.
Permission slips must have parent/guardian signatures (not typed).
