||Paloma Elementary PTO Mini-Grant Overview
2017-2018 Academic Enrichment Mini-Grant Application
To provide funding for academic and cultural enrichment activities to classroom teachers that will encourage and support innovation in instruction and creative approaches to the curriculum.
Up to $200.00 per semester, per teacher or program. Teachers may collaborate and combine their money for a larger grant amount so long as it does not exceed $200/classroom or program.
*Funds may be used for academic or cultural materials, enrichment learning activities and/or enrichment workshops. Request must be able to support all classroom students and their education.
*Intended to fund activities that can be used for years to come.
*Not intended to be used to purchase consumable items (For example, copy paper, expos, post it notes, one-time use chart paper, gift cards, fund field trip transportation, or personal/professional gain.
*Complete the application using the online submission process. You may access the Mini Grant request by logging into the Paloma website and then going to the PTO tab and selecting Mini-Grant Application.
*Request must include list of items, quantity, approximate price breakdown for each item, where the item will be purchased, and how many/who the grant will serve.
*Once the application has been received, it will be reviewed and voted on by the board members.
*Once your application has been voted on, you will receive a letter letting you know if your application was approved.
*Once approved, you can purchase the intended materials and submit a "PTO Check Request Form" to be reimbursed.
