Registration dates are listed on the DPS website calendar.The school has an attendance boundary map that is available for view on the website.How many students attend DPS?The school was built for 1,200 students – approximately 800 TK-5th grade students and 400 6th-8th graders.Is Double Peak School a performing arts school?No, but it will have an instrumental music emphasis, with a K-8 instrument music curriculum. The school has a performance stage, band room, practice rooms, and an elementary music room.What is special about Double Peak School?The school offers 3 unique opportunities for all of our students: Instrumental Music, Art and Innovation (engineering, design and coding). All students will have access to each of these unique opportunities starting in kindergarten. These opportunities will build upon each other creating a K-8 articulated experience.Is there a GATE program and Honors Courses?Yes. The GATE program will begin in 4th grade for students who qualify and the amount of accelerated classes (6th, 7th & 8th grade) will be determined based on the number of students who meet the criteria.
