¡Bienvendios a mi página! Me llamo Srta. Bustos. This is my second year teaching Spanish at San Marcos High School. I earned by B.A. from the University of Redlands (Go Bulldogs!) in 2011, M.A. in Spanish from SDSU in 2014, and my teaching credential from National University. In my spare time I enjoy baking, watching baking shows, looking for projects on Pinterest, and spending time with family and friends.
One of the main reasons why I love teaching Spanish is because I get to share my culture with my students and expose them to new cultures around the world. Also, I believe that being bilingual has many benefits such as being able to communicate with other communities, prepare our students to become 21st century world citizens, and be able to use their new language skills in the work force. This year I am teaching two sections of Spanish 2 and three sections of Spanish for Spanish Speakers 1. Every year I look forward to my new students and what I can learn from them about their character and interest. Please feel to contact me via email or telephone if you have any questions.
