Hello and welcome to Ms. Razi's United States History and ASB page. This is my third year teaching at San Marcos High School, and I'm really enjoying being a Knight! Previously, I have taught in Orange County, and at Fallbrook High School. I have the privilege of working closely with Bonnie (our Activities Director) as her assistant for our ASB program, I am the advisor for the Running Knights (our running club through the Knights Zone program), the Junior Class Advisor and a Co-coordinator of our Link Crew program. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, running, volunteering with my pup Molly who's a therapy dog at the hospital, attending Angels and Ducks games, visiting our beaches, and exploring the hiking trails San Marcos has to offer. Please feel free to e-mail me at any time. I will do my best to return your e-mail within 24 hours.
My philosophy on education is that every child has the ability to learn. I am a firm believer in the different learning styles and the importance of differentiated instruction. I believe that education requires every student and their teacher to take an active role in learning. I believe education is a team effort between teachers, students, parents, and school administration. If working together, with our students in mind, I believe that students will succeed and become lifelong learners who are able to use 21st century skills to think critically, solve problems, and work collaboratively.
