Hello Wonderful SEES Families,
We would like to announce that this year, we decided to rename our beloved “Father- Daughter Dance” to a more inclusive name for all our SEES families: “Girls Night Out”
Girls will be welcome to attend this event with their “Plus+1”, meaning any special adult, or important figure, even an older sibling in their life!
Girls Night Out will be held On Saturday, February 10th, 2018, at SEES in our MPR.
5:00pm-6:30pm for TK to 2nd grade
6:30pm-8:00pm for 3rd to 5th grade
If this year marks your first Girls Night Out, then you are in for a real treat! We will have a DJ for great dancing, and music, and professional photo booth for perfect photo souvenirs with your daughter (and all her friends!), a delicious bake sale, and an amazing glow items booth to ensure that you light up the dance floor all evening long.
This year, the theme for this event is “Dream Big” as there should not be any limit on what girls can accomplish in this world.
The entrance to this event is free, but tickets for the bake sale, glow items, and photo booth will be available the week of February 6th-9th in front of our school.
Lastly, as we did with Monster Bash, we wanted to join this event to a cause dear to all our hearts. We chose to partner up with the great organization Feeding San Diego, and organize a Food Drive the week of February 5th-9th.
For many non-profits, the Holidays get flooded with volunteers and helping hands, however hunger doesn’t end when the Holiday Season does. 1 in 8 people in San Diego struggle with hunger every day of the year. Let’s be a community that help tweak that number a little.
We will distribute boxes and flyers throughout the school with more info on this food drive next week.
Thank you for your support!
