Speak Up Survey- An opportunity to earn community service time. Take the survey to earn a half hour of community service credit. Have a parent take it and earn another half hour. You must record the unique survey number and have a parent initial your form, or take a photo, or print out the certificate for each survey you wish to receive credit for. If you take the survey in school, please have your teacher sign off on your form after you recorded your unique number. The results are anonymous, but gives input to people making decesions. Do it today as the survey is open for a limited time.
Peer Tutoring-The Peer Mentors are trained and experienced to tutor students at our school. With our after school PRIDE program removed, this will be a great opportunity for them to fulfill their history community service hours and also help tutor students needing assistance in the library and/or EL Support class. You can always go to the beach and do a clean up with your family and friends. Your parents should supervise and will also be your point of contact. Be sure to wear gloves, bring a bag, or 2, to collect the trash in. If you want to join in an organized clean up, see the organizations below. They have regulary scheduled weekend days and you can find where the location will be for the event.The ocean thanks you!
