How do I start off with a new Chromebook?

- When you first start with a Chromebook a Welcome screen will appear.
- Click on the blue Let’s go button.
- Select the network you want to connect to your Chromebook.
- A pop-up window will appear and you need to enter the WiFi password and click Connect.
- Click on Accept and continue. The Chromebook will check for update.
- The next step is to sign in to the Chromebook.

How do I sign in on a Chromebook?

- From the Sign in screen, type in your school email address including the @smusd.org
- Click Next and type in your school password and click Next.

How can I get/change a WiFi network on a Chromebook?

- Click on the WiFi icon at the bottom right of the screen and then on the WiFi icon again.
- Select the network to which you want to connect.
- A pop-up window will appear and you need to enter the WiFi password and click Connect.
- How do I logout of a Chromebook?
- At the lower right of the screen click on the red Logout button.

Can I add more than one account on a Chromebook?

- Yes, a Chromebook can have multiple accounts logged in at once.
-At the lower left of the screen click on Add Person.
- Login using the school email address and password.
