Mustang E-Blast, Week of  January 17th  

Welcome Back!  Please find enclosed some important information for this week:


  • Next week, January 22nd – 26th) is THE GREAT KINDNESS CHALLENGE. The “GKC” is a nationwide initiative to empower and encourage schools and students to create a culture of kindness and friendship.  Be sure to ask your students about their daily activities this week. For more information, please see
  • Here are some upcoming important dates to remember:

-Friday, January 26th  Our next Richland Round Up, Friday Flag Salute and Student of the Month

-Thursday, February 1st   Kindergarten registration begins. Packets will be available for pick up in the front office.

-Friday, February 2nd Family Friday Football.  Parents are invited to purchase breakfast in the cafeteria and join their students to play football before school.  Studnets will be wearing their favorite jerseys to school!

-Friday, February 16th-Monday, February 19th  President’s Day weekend, No School.         


News for our PTO, FOR Club:

  • Mixed Bags Fundraiser is here! One catalogue per Richland family will be sent home in backpacks at the end of the month!
  • The next FOR Club meeting will be next Tuesday, January 23rdat 6 p.m. Hope to see you there!
  • Wednesday Movie afternoons have been a big hit and the kids LOVE them! However we will need a few parent volunteers to continue the fun! If you are Interest in volunteering, please email the FOR Club
  • Here are some important FOR Club sponsored events coming up:

Thank You Lowe's!

Richland Makerspace gives a huge thank you to Lowe's Gives Foundation.  Richland makerspace received a grant from Lowe's for $3250 to update the room.  This update will benefit every student at our school.  More information will come as the project moves forward.
