The NCREC building houses offices of the San Marcos Unified School District and also offices of the San Diego County Office of Education.

San Marcos Unified School District offices include Office of the Superintendent, Business Services, Human Resources, Facilities, Instructional Services, Special Education, Child Nutrition Services, Accounting, Payroll, and Special Programs.

Transportation, Maintenance and Operations, Warehouse, and Technology offices are housed at 215 Mata Way..
