As featured in the last Superintendent Update, to ensure San Marcos local schools are safe, functioning and up to modern classroom standards, the SMUSD Governing Board is considering placing a school improvement bond measure on the November 2024 ballot.
We are currently in the process of sharing information about the condition of district facilities and the potential bond measure, as well as gathering feedback from the community.
We have held four "town hall" style Informational Events for the community to learn more about the potential bond measure, as well as made presentations with several community groups.
