General 2020-21 KOC Registration Timeline

2020-21 KOC Registration Delayed
At the direction of the District, we have postponed KOC Registration for 2020-21 until further notice. Kindergarten/TK registration was held up due to the closures and transfers have not been processed, so we have not been able to work with Principals and District Administration to determine what spaces on each campus will be available for KOC use. There is also discussion of what school and childcare will look like by the fall and there may be mandated changes that will impact KOC's capacity and the hours of care offered.

Our KOC Summer Camp is also on hold and we are uncertain if we will be able to offer summer care.

When we are ready to announce registration dates and procedures, information will be emailed out to our current families and the same info will be posted here for the public. We will announce the specific shifts of care that will be offered for all sites. Please continue to check our website under News and Announcements for updates.

Please note that a number of sites have planned to transition to full-day or extended-day kindergarten for 2020-21, with many keeping half-day TK (please check with your school site if you have an incoming kinder or TK student). This will impact the mid-day shifts of KOC care we have offered in the past. Specifically, if you will have a TK at Carrillo, Discovery, La Costa Meadows, Paloma, Richland, or San Elijo, we will not be offering mid-day KOC care on either end of half-day TK. TKs may participate in AM or PM KOC if it is directly before or after their TK class.

General Procedures:
When registration is able to proceed, we hold KOC registration and enrollment online in EZ ChildTrack. Each site will have a designated day when families may go in and select the care they need for their child. Parents will need to have access to a computer to complete enrollment (we do not recommend using a smartphone). All current families wishing to use KOC for 2020-21 will need to re-register. Enrollment is accepted on a first come, first served basis.
