KOC will be holding Spring Break Camp from 3/30 – 4/2 (closed 4/3). Camp will be held at La Costa Meadows Elementary, Richland Elementary and San Elijo Elementary.

Spring Break Camp: 3/30-4/2 (Monday – Thursday)

KOC Camp is full-day care from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The day includes STEM or Makerspace projects, arts and crafts, cultural activities, group games and time for supervised outdoor play. Camp enrollment is by week only. Families cannot select individual days.

Camp is open to all SMUSD families, whether or not they use KOC during the school year. Students in TK-5th grade are eligible for Camp. Current families must register for Camp separately from their school-year enrollment.

For Spring Camp, all 3 sites will go on a field trip to the Safari Park.

• La Costa Meadows will go on 3/31
• Richland and San Elijo will go on 4/1

The Spring Camp cost is $194, which includes the 4 days of Camp, the field trip and bus transportation to the field trip venue.

Enrollment opens online in EZ ChildTrack on Wednesday, 2/18, at 8:00 am!

Students MUST be enrolled for school in SMUSD before they can be enrolled for KOC. You can check out our KOC 2025-26 Enrollment page to give you an idea of how enrollment works for KOC in the current year. KOC enrollment is separate from SMUSD school enrollment. KOC enrollment will take place in late April or early May, 2026. Please check back regularly for updates! 

If you will have an incoming TK student, please check out our TK information presentation. This will give you an idea of how TK KOC operates in the current year. Although there may be some changes for 2026-27, this is a good place to start. 

If you are a TK family interested in receiving communication from KOC prior to the KOC enrollment period, please share your contact information in our KOC TK Interest List. We are in the process of planning KOC TK Info Sessions (held at the SMUSD District Office) and KOC TK site tours (one at each KOC site) in the Spring, prior to the KOC enrollment period. By adding your contact info here, you will be notified of those dates once they are calendared.
