Knob Hill Elementary School Reconstruction Project

Project Scope:

• Reconstruction of existing buildings, site reconfiguration, and replacement of portable buildings with permanent buildings

Woodland Park Middle School Renovation 

Project Scope:

• Renovation of existing buildings, site reconfiguration, and replacement of portable buildings with permanent buildings

Contractor: Lusardi Construction Co.

Architect: HMC Architects

Budget: $105.2M - Measure JJ and multiple funding sources

Construction:

Phase I: September 2025 – December 2026, Construction of Building H and electrical building.

Phase II (A):  May 2026 – August 2026, Interim Housing.

Phase II (B):  June 2026 – August 2027, Demo, construction of Buildings E, D1-D4, modernization of Buildings A and B, parking lots, main entry canopy and fence.

Project Scope: 

• Installation of additonal solar power arrays and EV charging stations to promote sustainable transportation and reduce emissions for our electric bus fleet. 

Contractor: Opterra Energy Services, LLC (formerly ENGIE Services U.S., Inc.)

Budget: $12.8 Million

Construction: Began October 2025

San Marcos High School Sitewide Athletic Improvements 

Project Scope:

• Stadium: Replacement of artificial turf, including the “D” area. Replacement of synthetic track, shot put area, pole vault, and long jump runways.
• Multipurpose Fields: Replacement of grass fields with artificial turf and installation of field lights.
• Beach Volleyball Courts: Addition of three (3) beach volleyball courts.
• Tennis Courts: Resurface

Budget: $7M - Measure JJ and CFD

Contractor: C.W. Driver LLC

Construction: May 18, 2026 – October 2026
