Project Scope: 

• Installation of additonal solar power arrays and EV charging stations to promote sustainable transportation and reduce emissions for our electric bus fleet. 

Contractor: OPTERRA Energy Services, LLC (formerly ENGIE Services U.S., Inc.)

Budget: $12.8 Million

Construction: Began October 2025

San Marcos High School Sitewide Athletic Improvements 

Project Scope:

• Stadium: Replacement of artificial turf, including the “D” area. Replacement of synthetic track, shot put area, pole vault, and long jump runways. “Complete”
• Multipurpose Fields: Replacement of grass fields with artificial turf and installation of field lights
• Beach Volleyball Courts: Addition of three (3) beach volleyball courts
• Tennis Courts: Resurface “Complete”

Budget: $7M - Measure JJ and CFD

Construction: May 18, 2026 – October 2026
