Mission Hills High School Sitewide Athletic Improvements Project

Project Scope:

• Stadium: Replacement of artificial turf and replacement of synthetic track including the “D” area
• Practice Field: Replacement of grass field with artificial turf and installation of field lights
• Tennis Courts: Replacement of ten (10) tennis courts with eight (8) new post-tension concrete tennis courts and conversion of two (2) existing tennis courts into three (3) beach volleyball courts. New drainage of the surrounding slopes.

Knob Hill Elementary School Renovation Project

Project Scope:

• Renovation of existing buildings, site reconfiguration, and replacement of portable buildings with permanent buildings

Contractor: Balfour Beaty Construction Co.

Budget: $94M  – Measure JJ

Construction: Began June 2025 for interim housing and grating

Woodland Park Middle School Renovation 

Project Scope:

• Renovation of existing buildings, site reconfiguration, and replacement of portable buildings with permanent buildings

Contractor: Lusardi Construction Co.

Budget: $105.2M - Measure JJ and multiple funding sources

Construction: Began September 26, 2025 for Phase I to include removal of portables 505/506, add temp power, and begin construction on Building H.

Project Scope: 

• Installation of additonal solar power arrays and EV charging stations to promote sustainable transportation and reduce emissions for our electric bus fleet. Phase II

Contractor: Opterra Energy Services, LLC

Budget: $12.8 Million

Construction: Began October 2025
