Dr. Tiffany Campbell
Deputy Superintendent of Schools

A dedicated educator with twenty-five+ years of teaching and administrative experience in middle and high schools, Dr. Campbell earned a Master of Science in Education from National University and her Doctorate from UCSD and CSUSM Joint Doctoral Program in Education Leadership.

She began working in our district as an assistant principal for San Marcos High School in 2005 and served as principal of both San Marcos Middle School and San Marcos High School.  Most recently she has served as SMUSD Director of Secondary Education and Assistant Superintendent of Equity and Secondary Schools before moving into her current position as Deputy Superintendent of Educational Services.  

The Educational Services Division exists to support teachers and administrators in achieving maximum student learning.  The division provides leadership in the following areas to accomplish this mission:  

• Professional development
• Curriculum, resource and assessment development
• Data analysis and use
• Student attendance and safety procedures
• Federal and state resource and program compliance
• Special population services and requirements
• English language learner resources and programs
