Directory Information and Photo/Video Opt-Out Form
Photographs and video footage help SMUSD celebrate student achievements, highlight learning experiences, and share the stories of our schools with the broader community. Photos and videos may be used in district and school communications, including websites, social media, publications, promotional materials, and news media. Parents and guardians who do not want photographs or video footage of their student used may complete the Directory Information and Photo/Video Opt-Out Form and email the completed form to communications@smusd.org.

ParentSquare
San Marcos Unified School District uses ParentSquare as its school-to-home communication platform. Families may receive district and school communications through email, text messages, app notifications, and other ParentSquare features. For more information, visit the ParentSquare Resources page.
