ParentVUE
is a component of our Student Information System that gives parents secure, private access to school and student information.

ParentVUE Features

ParentVUE isn't just for student registration. As many of our parents and guardians already know, it's a great tool to check grades, assignments, attendance, calendars, teacher contact information, and more!  Each school's 
ParentVUE/StudentVUE is available in English and Spanish. Students can use StudentVUE to check grades, assignments, calendars, teacher contact information.         Families who have more than one student in SMUSD can access all student information using their ParentVUE username and password. You only need one ParentVUE account for all students in your home.   Update your information anytime (phone number, email address) by logging into ParentVUE and clicking on the MyAccount Tab.         

HOW DO I GET ACCESS?

STEP 1 - Activate your Account

You will receive an email with your Activation Code and instructions on how to activate your account.  If you are currently enrolled and haven't received an email with your activation code, please click here to submit a request

STEP 2 - Complete Residency Verification (View Overview Video)

Normally, proof of residency would be provided to the school. Because of the public health order due to COVID-19, we are asking that all proof of residency for the 2020-2021 school year be provided with the online registration process through ParentVUE. 

Families can log into their ParentVUE account to complete registration. Verify that all student information is up to date.

Step 1: Prepare Your Documents
To make the online registration process smooth and convenient, please have the following information available:

- Proof of address   
- Student's Birth Certificate (or Affidavit)    (NEW REGISTRATIONS ONLY)
Parent/guardian(s) name and contact information
Emergency contacts and phone number(s)
Health information including the name of your healthcare provider, dentist, health conditions and/or medication (if applicable)   
Immunization Card
Previous school's address and phone number
Custodial documentation (if applicable)    

Step 2: Log into Your ParentVUE Account to Verify Student Information
You will need to set up a ParentVUE account to register your child(ren) online. Once you log into ParentVUE, you'll be asked to review and update your student's information:
Address
Parent/guardian(s) name and contact information
Emergency contacts and phone number(s)
Student information
Health information including the name of your healthcare provider, dentist, health conditions and/or medication (if applicable)
Immunizations
Information Release
Language Usage Survey
Previous schools attended
Parent/Guardian relationships
Disciplinary history   

Step 3: Provide Proof of Residency, Additional Documentation
Annually Provide Proof of Residency
Families need to provide proof of residency each school year. 
Parents/Guardians, please take a picture or scan your proof of residency and upload it to your child's (children's) registration. 
The registration process is not complete until you have provided this information.
Due to social distancing guidelines, we cannot accept paper documents at this time.
